Wax Melt Care & Safety

Important: Please read and follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe use of wax melts. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in fire, injury, or damage.

General Safety

Keep Out of Reach of Children and Pets
Store wax melts and burners in a safe place, away from curious hands or paws.

Never Leave Unattended
Do not leave a lit wax burner or melter unattended. Always extinguish the heat source when leaving the room.

Use in a Well-Ventilated Area
Ensure the area is ventilated to prevent the build-up of vapours, but avoid draughts that can cause uneven melting or tipping of the burner.

Use Approved Equipment Only
Always use wax melts with a purpose-designed wax melt burner or warmer. Do not use oil burners or any device not designed for wax melts.

Using Wax Melts

Follow the Manufacturer's Instructions
Always refer to and adhere to specific guidance provided by the wax melt and burner manufacturer.

Check Your Burner
Inspect your burner for cracks, chips, or damage before use. Do not use if damaged.

Do Not Add Water or Liquids
Only place the wax melt in the designated well of the burner. Adding water or any liquid can cause the wax to splatter or create hazards.

Use the Correct Amount of Wax
Do not overfill the burner. Check the manufacturer's recommendations for the maximum quantity.

Monitor Heat Sources

For tealight burners, use a standard 4-hour unscented tealight. Avoid multi-wick, high-heat, or larger tealights.

For electric warmers, ensure the voltage and wattage are correct and in line with the manufacturer's guidance.

During Use

Keep Away from Flammable Materials
Place your burner on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from flammable items like curtains, paper, or furniture.

Avoid Touching Hot Surfaces
The burner and melted wax can get very hot during use. Do not touch until completely cooled.

Do Not Move While In Use
Wait until the wax has cooled and solidified before attempting to move the burner.

After Use

Extinguish the Heat Source
If using a tealight burner, extinguish the candle with a snuffer. For electric burners, switch off and unplug.

Allow to Cool Completely
Wait until the burner and wax are fully cooled before handling.

Remove Used Wax Safely

Never pour melted wax down the sink or drain.

Remove solidified wax by gently easing it out of the burner. Do not use sharp tools that may damage the burner.

Additional Warnings

Do Not Consume: Wax melts are not food and are harmful if ingested.

Allergy Advice: Check product labels for allergens or sensitivities.

Fire Risk: Overheating or misuse may cause fire. Always ensure proper supervision and follow these instructions.

In Case of Emergency

Fire: Smother with a fire blanket or use a dry powder extinguisher. Do not use water.

Contact Information: Keep manufacturer contact details handy for specific product queries.

How to use Wax Melts

Break the Bar into Chunks
Gently snap or cut your 30g wax melt bar into smaller pieces (usually 1–2 cubes, depending on your preference and the size of your warmer). The wax is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way!

Place in Your Wax Warmer
Set the wax melt chunks in the dish of your electric or tealight wax warmer. Make sure the warmer is clean and dry before adding the wax for the best melting experience.

Heat & Enjoy the Fragrance
Turn on your warmer (or light the tealight if you’re using a traditional warmer). As the wax melts, it will release its strong, long-lasting scent into the air, filling your space with a natural, vegan fragrance.

Reuse or Dispose
Once the scent fades or you want to switch fragrances, let the wax cool and harden. You can reuse the wax until the fragrance is fully gone, or simply pop it out and dispose of it. Always ensure the warmer is cool before cleaning it.
